To create a public or request-only group in the system, click on the Network link in the top-menu. Click on Groups in the sub-menu to view available public groups. Click on the Plus (+) icon to the left of the Groups list filters to launch the Group Settings page.




Complete the fields on the Groups Settings page and click the Save button to create your group.




Public groups may be open to all interested users or may be set to request-only mode. Request-only mode requires the user to request permission from the group admin to be added to the group. Private groups are invite-only; a group admin must explicitly invite a user to join the group.


The free Writer subscription level allows you to create one public virtual writers' group within the network. The paid Writer Plus and Writer Pro subscriptions allow you to create both private and public groups.
